Hi Cindy, Just returned to share the astounding video clip with my Birds.... they all went silent watching it!
I am truly surprised since my last visit no one has yet left any notes. Maybe arachnophobia has been the influence for it.
The Bug Whisperer's Blog has quite a lot of interesting moments. An extremely talented photographer.
As for the Video.... astonishingly well done. As sad as it is beautiful. Watching it a second time I could not help feel tears rise in me. I rather like Spiders, adore Moths. Yet I also found within me a sense of witnessing a murder occur, as well as the reality of turning a meal into a digestible soup.
Attaining food to eat is really not a pretty thing when one relies on meat for their diet.
Within this present modern world the need for humans to hunt for food is no longer necessary, but would be as tragic to see happening when meat was needed and an animal had to be killed to provide it.
My respect to Nature's Wild Meat Eaters, they usually do the deed as quickly as possible, rapidly ending the trauma for the meal to be.
I would not like to be someone's munchy. Glad my body naturally rejects meat as a digestion process. I often wonder if I would have the courage and ability to hunt an animal for meat if had to. Hope I never have to find out.
I certainly will look at Spiders and their Webs with a new insight.
Thank you for the remarkable experience. You are quite marvellous with what you find Cindy. I'm always engrossed by what you share.
yikes! how do i follow that!! (magda's comment) :)
that video is truly amazing!! WOW is an understatement!! if you missed the beginning...came in the middle...you would have NO idea what was going on...like a fractal forest...
thanks for sharing that!! i'll have to go check out Bug Whisperer.
I'm terrified of spiders, but I decided to brave this video for you. I got to about 1:29 and I had to stop it. A bit traumatic.
Why didn't I head the warning above the video?! Before, I stopped it, I was rooting for the moth? to escape. That spider reminded me of Aragog or that spider in what I think was "The Return of the King".
